Visiting Georgetown

We are excited to welcome community members and guests to the Hilltop campus as we celebrate the Inauguration of President Eduardo M. Peñalver. Here are some important tips to consider as you travel to the Hilltop campus on October 9.

Driving to the Hilltop Campus

We strongly encourage you to plan for extra travel time in your commute to the Hilltop campus on October 9. Please consider utilizing the Georgetown University Transportation Shuttles (GUTS) or public transportation instead of parking on or near campus. The Office of Transportation Management has more information on additional ways to travel to and from campus.

If you do decide to drive to campus, the address for the Hilltop campus is 3700 O St., NW, Washington, D.C.

Parking

Valet parking will be in effect in the Southwest Quad Garage. It is anticipated that after 8 AM, garages on campus will be full. Parkers who arrive once on-campus garages are full will be directed to the 3300 Whitehaven Street parking garage, operated by the Office of Transportation Management. From there, community members can take the Wisconsin Avenue GUTS Shuttle to campus.

Campus Shuttle Service

In order to accommodate increased guests, faculty, staff and students commuting to campus, the Wisconsin Avenue Shuttle and Rosslyn Shuttle will operate on a more frequent service schedule throughout the day.

Starting at noon, the McDonough Bus Turnaround will be closed until 6 PM. All routes will depart from Lombardi during this time. Check BusWhere for the latest shuttle information.
