Gratitude This Spring

Dear Colleagues:

I write to express my deep gratitude to the members of this community for your dedicated efforts over the past year, and the care and commitment you have demonstrated as we have navigated the challenges of the pandemic.

As an expression of appreciation and gratitude for all that our faculty and staff have contributed over this past year, we will be adding a holiday to our calendar on Thursday, April 1, in addition to our existing holiday on Friday, April 2.

I invite you to refer to our Human Resources website for details on this additional day off, as well as information for those in our community whose responsibilities may necessitate flexibility in the timing of this day off.

As we enter these closing weeks of the academic year, there is a growing sense of optimism about the time ahead—something that is only possible because of the individual and collective effort of our University community.

I remain deeply grateful for your many efforts on behalf of all of us at Georgetown.
