With the Class of 2020 Commencement Weekend coming up later this month, we are writing with a few reminders and additional details about the celebration.
Registration is required to participate in the May 28 commencement ceremony and claim your rain tickets. The deadline for registration is Saturday, May 7. An email with your unique registration link was sent to you on April 8 with the subject line “ACTION REQUIRED: Register for Georgetown University Class of 2020 Commencement.” If you did not receive this email, and it is not in your spam or promotions folders, please email email@example.com.
Rain Site Tickets
The commencement ceremony is planned to take place outdoors on Healy Lawn and will not be ticketed. In the event of severe weather, the ceremony will take place in McDonough Arena. Tickets are required for the rain site. You can reserve two rain tickets during the registration process. Once registration closes on May 7, we will determine if additional rain site tickets will be released. Both undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies will be livestreamed on the Georgetown University Facebook Page.
