With Appreciation

Dear Colleagues:

As we enter into the holiday season, I wish to take a moment to share my sincere gratitude to all of you for the many ways you have worked to care for each other and the wider University community this year. Together we have navigated a return to campus life and worked to ensure the health and safety of all members of our community. We have been able to achieve this because of the hard work and thoughtful efforts of every single member of our community.

As an expression of our deep appreciation for all that our faculty and staff have contributed, we will be adding a holiday to our calendar this year on Thursday, December 23, in addition to our existing holiday break from Friday, December 24, through Monday, January 3, 2022. Our colleagues at GU-Q will be receiving their additional holiday on December 22, 2021.

For more details regarding this additional day off, please refer to our Human Resources website. This page also provides information for those in our community whose responsibilities may necessitate flexibility in the timing of this day off.

As we enter the final month of the year and we reflect on the year ahead, I am grateful for the compassion and dedication of this community and for your many efforts to strengthen our University.
